She is a music therapist, vocal psychotherapist and supervisor.
She started her studies in Athens, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the American College of Athens-DEREE and a Diploma of monody from the Municipal Conservatory of Argyroupoli. She continued studying in New York, obtaining a Master's degree (MA) in Music Therapy from New York University, as well as a specialization - Post Master's title (AVPT) in Vocal Psychotherapy from the Music Psychotherapy Center of New York. She has worked at the "Cabrini Nursing Center", "Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center" and the support center "Gilda's Club" in New York and has collaborated with various organizations in Athens such as the Agia Sophia Hospital-Christodoulakeio Foundation, the Athenian Conservatory, etc.
From 2017 to 2020 she was in charge of the music therapy department of the non-profit organization "PAMEMMAZI", providing sessions for cancer patients and their relatives within the hospital setting. She has taken part in presentations, lectures, symposia and seminars in Greece and abroad and runs workshops that mainly focus on vocal expression. She has been vice-president of the Greek Association of Graduate Professional Music Therapists.
In parallel with music therapy, she works as a soprano and since 2000 she has been part of the musical ensembles of the Municipality of Athens.
